It’s a big welcome to our new look website as we start our campaign in the RFL Championship for the 2026 season.
This site has been designed by Ian Golden at Sporting Records Online Ltd, who may be known to some as the League Express reporter at our home matches.
In addition to designing this website for us, Sporting Records Online Ltd are now our official data partners. If you see from our new look fixture list, there’s a complete record of all of our matches from when we became the Hurricanes, and soon, we’ll have a new look player page, which we’ll launch soon. All of this will allow us to do live match coverage on our website.
There’s also a new page for our women’s side, plus a history of our league tables, plus a full list of our international players.
Eventually, we will go further back, and the Coventry Bears years will be also be on the site.
Sporting Records Online are already official website and data partners to Wales Rugby League and data partners to the Scotland Rugby League international sides. They also work with a number of rugby union sides in Wales, plus English Premiership rugby union club Northampton Saints.
Golden said:
“After reporting at Midlands Hurricanes for the last couple of years, I’m delighted to come on board as official website and data partners to the club. I’ve loved the family atmosphere that I’ve experienced at the club and I’ve already enjoyed working alongside everyone there. I’m delighted to bring this next step to my working friendship with the Hurricanes and I’m this will be long and fruitful.”
Eorl Crabtree, Hurricanes Managing Director, said:
“Everyone at the club is very grateful for Ian’s efforts in creating our brand new website. Having watched it develop during the off-season, it is clear that Ian has put the same passion into creating this website that he puts into everything he does in this sport.
Launching our new website signals the direction this club is determined to take as we step into the Championship. We’re raising standards across every part of the organisation, and our digital presence should also reflect that ambition.
“This platform delivers clearer access to our club news and fixtures, our community work, and the future we’re building through our pathways.
“It’s a statement of intent. The Hurricanes are moving forward with purpose, and we want our supporters with us every step of the way.“
